Our Wildcat Mountain Wilderness Center is home to our Wildcat Program and is nestled deep within a 50,000-acre natural area within Wawayanda State Park and the Kittatinny Mountains of northern Passaic County, New Jersey. It is a wonderful “outdoor classroom” with cabins, ropes courses, and many areas to hike, camp, rock climb, and canoe. Many of our experiential education programs take place here.

The University Heights Learning Hub houses Project U.S.E.’s main office. It is conveniently located in Newark, New Jersey’s University Heights District across from New Jersey Institute of Technology’s campus. This revitalized post-industrial building with lofted ceilings, large skylights, and wrap-around windows offers an exciting and convenient learning environment for children engaged in our after school and apprenticeship programs. “The Hub”, (as it’s also known), is home to Cos’ Classroom, our Rooftop Garden, and the Pride Arts Programs. The Hub also offers a woodshop utilized by our Boatbuilding, Park Works and Rooftop Garden Programs.
